I’ve always been teaching these stand alone 2 hour workshops in my studio…I don’t have space to do ongoing classes so this is the solution to give you a taste of making pottery. You can also organize your own class with family and friends. Just let me know when you would like to do it. It can be an evening or a Saturday or a Sunday. I have several projects you can choose from. Mugs are always my favourite as you learn all the basics doing one…Fairy Houses, boxes, vases and bowls are fun but a little more complicated. You leave your completed piece with me, pick a glaze and I have it glazed and fired for you to pick up..It takes two firings and the pieces have to fit along with my production work so sometimes it takes a month or so to get it fired and ready to pick up..You’ve seen my kilns, they are quite large and it takes me awhile to fill them. Looking forward to teaching you some clay techniques. I’ve been posting on instagram more lately and you can check out some of the videos. I can hardly believe that a few of the videos have had over 17,000 looks.(conniepikepottery on instagram) they are on my Facebook page too.

Hand Built Mug Class

Connie will be teaching you to make a hand built mug March 4 -1-3pm.
Come and enjoy working in Connie’s pottery studio using a slab of clay and texture rollers to make your own mug.
It will be glazed and fired in the following month and ready for you to pick up. 16 years and up Room for 8-10 participants. $50.
